immersed!

on sunday i had the incredible opportunity to be baptized by immersion. pretty much i got totally drenched!! it was a unique experience that i am truly grateful for.

i helped out on a coke spec a couple weekends ago and this is what the fridge looked like for one of the scenes. awesome.

a smoothie situation.

last night i wanted to test out my new fruit in smoothie form. i was very excited. i had some frozen blueberries, frozen strawberries, apple sauce, a banana, some orange juice and little bit of soy milk. i started blending it up, on the 'ice crush' setting, but i was having some trouble getting all the frozen fruit to blend. i would start the blender, then stop it and stir it. and then repeat a bunch of times....i was a getting a little annoyed that it was taking so long, so the next time i turned the blender on, i stuck my spoon in while it was going. needless to say, i have been reminded why you're not supposed to do that. my smoothie went everywhere! it was pretty hilarious and i'm totally bummed i don't have a picture to share.

i had another smoothie for breakfast, it was delicious and way less messy.

painters.

park la brea is painting the outside of my building. this morning, while sitting on my couch eating my breakfast, the painters stopped in front on my window. luckily i had closed the blinds beforehand so they weren't just staring in my apt...ha, but i could hear them outside! such a strange moment.

i saw a couple with two kids signing to one another today at lunch. how amazing.

stuff like that makes me want to know everyone's story.

oh joy, morning commute.

i freaking hate people when i'm driving. okay fine, i don't hate them, but i get really frustrated because everyone seems to be an idiot.

take, for example, the girl who HIT me this morning. ridiculous. but i guess i should be thankful that my first accident, was so minor and wasn't my fault. and i'm sure some time in my life, something will be my fault, so maybe i should have some compassion. it's still annoying though.
